Id crisis?

The search of salvation and perfect harmony starts from the first day .

You are told about God. His wrath and Hell, His blessings and Heaven.

About all goodness belonging to Him and all sins belonging to you.

And then you are let loose into the world with your neck tied with a lash, like a fierce dog who is inherently as cute and innocent as chihuahua and who turns -day by day, breath by breath- into a pit bull, or a rotweiler maybe.

Chaos starts.

You seek God and His words for seeking the path to the eternal salvation.

And there you realize that in one of the most potent verses of Him that He made the antidote of the magic that harms us, humans, He calls Himself "Rab-in-Naas", the "Lord of all mankind".

And then you start looking for perfection in others.

One by one you shatter your own dream of perfection in people. In reality just trying to justify your own weaknesses.

[Trying to follow His orders?]

What does that confusion make one?

His protagonist or His hypocrite?

Hmph!

Ifs and buts...

If God judges people the way people judge each other - there must be a place other than heaven or hell that no one really cares about and everyone blames.

But thank God, that is not the case!

Irrelevant...

Some kids fantasized about becoming superman, some spiderman, some hulk.

Not him.

One of his all time favorite fantasy [or you may call it hallucination] was to be told by a doctor that you have a fatal disease like Brain Tumor, like Cancer, anything like that and then to be told that you have only one week or something like that to live.

And then to be given a chance to speak to the world, make a good bye speech.

A speech to shake and wake up the people around. To have the courage to tell the people what he has to tell, before the limited time he has here ends.

But keeping aside the disease part, maybe every other thing is really true.

Used to remind him of the socially rejected person who would laugh when the world cried and cry when the world laughed.

The stupendously strange lone-star who broke his teeth for the one he loved. And his loved one being the center of and the most important personality of the religion Islam.

The one who inherited his loved ones will to make "dua" for his loved ones Ummah.

The one who time remembers by the name of Uwais Qarni.

Interestingly, the thought still lingered on. However not with the same intensity.

No more, no more, know more ...

He took his first step on the stairway of life.

The stairway with its first step called who, and second step titled what.

The subsequent steps followed the same labeling algorithm.

Who was odd and what was even.

His whole life lingered on between who he knew and what he knew.

The first step, and the first touch, like all babies who make it to the world was that of his mother. And maybe that was the most potent one as well.

Later, his path to stability was always dependent on those two labels.

To know the whats, one needs to know the people. And to get to the people, one needs to show what one knows.

It is interesting.

Learning can be a scary experience, but the inevitable has to occur. And if one does not know, it can come as a big shock.

But the question still remains.

If there is a last step, is it a who or a what.

My lame guess, what!
