Chaos...
The opening lines of the movie "The butterfly effect".
Anyways, that's not what this post is about.
I had to park my car outside a bank today for about 5 minutes, and instead of parking wrongly behind a car in front of the bank's entrance, I parked at-least a mile farther. And then it suddenly occurred to me where did the inspiration come from.
There was an advertisement on PTV long time back that showed a man getting some blood from a blood bank and when he gets out, there's this car behind his car due to which he can't take out his car. And it effects badly on the health of the patient back there in the hospital who needed the blood.
I can't say how good or how bad that advertisement was because the guy could have taken a cab, but it did have it's effect.
A small act of kindness does go a long way.
I do remember when I was young and restless, someone recited me the following piece of poetry:
Shikwa-e-zulmat-e-shab sai to kaheen behtar tha
Apnai hissai ki koi shamma jalatai jatai
It states that, in theory, the flutter of a butterfly's wings in China could, in fact, actually effect weather patterns in New York City, thousands of miles away.
