Through the looking glass...

It was peeping through the looking glass. The world outside the prison. It could see parts of the outside of the prison as well. And the whole reflection in certain ways, through certain tools.

It dreamt strangely. Ever since its existence. To search what it really was, it always thought of cutting down parts of its fingers and then shredding till it knew what it was, till the discrete line emerged that chalked out its boundary from everything else.

Strangely, the thought always lingered on.

Go. go. go. go. .

The truth shall set you free. Really?
