Grandparents are the only ones who can spoil you in a legit way, such that even your parents can't and won't mind that.

Have always been very close to both my paternal and maternal grandmothers. Visiting them has always been a treat since childhood.

My paternal grandmother used to call me "Do roshni", "Two lights". I am inclined to believe that I was the favorite of her grandchildren. There is evidence to support that too. She didn't call any other grandchild's wife her "Bahoo".

My maternal grandmother passed away on 18th January 2000 - a part of me died then. My paternal grandmother passed away on 7th June 2014 - a part of me died now.
